The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is a government-run retirement scheme that offers financial security to Singaporeans. The fund helps to cover the cost of an employee’s retirement, and is also used to support the economic well-being of their family.
As a self-employed person or an employer, you can submit monthly contributions to the CPF to help fund your employee’s retirement. You will receive a monthly statement of the amount of your contributions, and you can pay this contribution directly to the CPF via the app.
